Answer.
Subol had never gone into deep fores. So he was excited. It was an adventure to him. They entered into the jungle without others. It was also exciting to them.

Answer. Because the dense trees blocked sunlight.

(d) Why was the tiger amble away? 
Answer. Because the brothers stood still without challenging the tiger.

Suppose your school has arranged a tour to the sunderbans. Given below are the names of five items. you can take any three of these. Write five sentences on which three items you will carry with you and why.

Answer. I will carry only water bottle, torch and map. The Sundarban is a deep forest so a need to find path. I must carry water bottle because one cannot line without water. To the Sunderban trip a map is very important items. A map will help me to guide in the Sunderban, 
Activity-9(b) 
In the text you have learnt that animals are not our enemies. Many people keep animals as pets. Write five Sentence on how you would take care of your pet animal if you had one. You can use the hints given below: 
Hints : Give food- protect them- nurse them when ill or hurt. 
Answer. I will bath my pet and keep him/her from dust. If he/she gets hurt or become ill I will nurse. Everyday I will give him food. I shall not allow him / her to go outside. I will take care of him / her very well.
